Hindi Newspaper in Braille for Visually Impaired




Reliance Foundation, a charitable body of Reliance Industries Limited has Launched 'Reliance Drishti' - world's first hindi newspaper in braille. It was launched this monday in Mumbai's Kamla Mehta School for Blind by Reliance Foundation Chairperson Neeta Ambani.

It will be published every first and third Tuesday of the month and will be available free of cost for the 325 institutions working for Blinds across India. Swagat Thorat will the Editor of Newspaper.

According to Neeta Ambani, a large population of visually impaired resides in developing countries like India and they should not be deprived of knowledge because of their physical incapability.
